Lovely Saturday it was.

I learned how to N-Ply this weekend. My best friend Deb taught me to N-ply. Her tip of the day is N-Plying is like crocheting with your fingers. That was all I need to hear and it was like magic. So here is my Sleeping Beauty Sosae Caetano SAL completed. So Blue it is. I started Saturday with my friend Cookie who made the most incredible Strawberry Meringue Cake. Cake and Coffee was so good! The author of the recipe is Marcela Valladolid. We three had a wonderful Saturday. Spinning, knitting & eating. What more can you want?

Roadtrip LA and Back to Spinning

Last weekend I went on a Road Trip to LA with 11 knitters. We went to Wildfibers in Santa Monica and a wonderful event came along. My friend Gwen I use to work with when I lived in LA was at Wildfibers taking a class. We were knitting friends and so enjoyed every moment of it. We haven't communicated in years and I am sure it is destiny to meet again. It is the most unexpected events in life that are a true pleasure.

I am spinning in Sosae's Fairytale SAL. My choice of fibers is Sleeping Beauty. Adding a little bit of sparkling Angelina fiber as I spin.

Oh how I love spring. This is my first blog post. This is really fun. I started off my morning with coffee and spinning. Then chatting with friends. Since spring is here I have started working on my deck outside. This will be a wonderful summer of flowers.
